All the dummy heads come with high quality, low noise microphone capsules and PCB circuits installed, and these can be user changed out for your own DPA 4060 stereo kits (or choose the DPA version here) if the DPA ear set is purchased separately, they include the interconnects and pinna to make this possible, and is straight forward to fit.

We also have an outdoor model that will be available soon that uses the standard mics with built-in mouldings to take on the DPA stereo kit if desired.
The DPA 4060 CORE+ Stereo kit versions are made to order and can take up to 14 days to complete. These are a high quality binaural capturing devices that are incredible at externalising audio recordings, the standard microphone versions are much better than our legacy polystyrene types by far! We have sold hundreds of the polystyrene heads and believe that these will do much better for those that dislike the sound of polystyrene/styrofoam.
The head has a 1/4 20 mount on top of the head, so that they can be mounted inverted, for capturing unusual binaural cues, or, it can be mounted from above, above an event for example, or you can add a camera/phone to the mount. There are wind protectors for these that also fit the KU100, available in different colours, White, Black, Grey, beige and even pink, and are installed like headphones.
