We are offering a few of these prototypes that we have printed to test slight variations.
We have designed the "Android" head some also have mouldings inside for the installing of DPA 4060 CORE+Stereo kits, we have optional DPA pinna up for purchase so you can transform this dummy head to a high-end binaural microphone well suited for many applications, if you already own a DPA 4060 core+ stereo kit you can add them to this dummy head for an outstanding binaural capturing device!
We also have an outdoor model that will be available soon that uses the standard mics with built-in mouldings to take on the DPA stereo kit if desired.
The DPA 4060 CORE+ Stereo kit versions are made to order, and can take up to 14 days to complete. These are a high quality binaural capturing devices that are incredible at externalising audio recordings, the standard microphone versions are much better than our legacy polystyrene types by far! We have sold hundreds of the polystyrene heads and believe that these will do much better for those that dislike the sound of styrofoam.
Full production models will be available in a few different colours at a slightly higher price than listed here, and as long as we can match the 3D filament to silicone colours, or even head/ear different colours, you can request a colour type combination, it's up to you how you want them, you can have different coloured ears if you wish, white head with red ears, and white head with black ears look great!
