The dummy head microphone has a weatherproof RJ45 jack and an external crossover box that converts the CAT6 cable to XLR for your recorder or mixer, the CAT6 cable can be up to 60 to 70 meters long so that any recording equipment can be remote from the microphone indoors.

We have a USB mixer in the shop that is Ideal for Raspberry Pi mini computers etc, live capture birds and other nature/urban/city/country sounds and stream to an online streaming service (paid or free) or stream direct on your home network using Darkice and Icecast, or use an external recorder in a weatherproof box for your capturing.

 

The tube microphone as shown in the listing comes only with the fluffies (windjammers) and 3M high quality audio lead with a 3.5mm jack for plugin power type of sound devices. 

The red foams are fixed to the microphone.

The tube microphone requires plugin power that comes from either a camera microphone input or external audio recorder that can have external microphones plugged into it, and is powered by the recorder using plugin power.
